Maybe one last question, with what time we have left. If you had a message for teachers
that are working with the native, especially the native students in our state we know that a
majority of the teachers are non-native working with native students. Is there a message
you would like to give them or something you hope that they will know and do with the kids
that they're serving?
Well, of course, you have to have a lot of persistence, yeah, persistence, and then I just say
to build on strengths, just to build on strengths. It's just like with these little flute students,
you know. So then, a lot of them, you know, at first they were just so shy and they'd have
the desk there and they'd have their flute down here, but I couldn't see what they were
doing. Because you guys, I'm just here to help you, just sit up a little bit so I can see what
you're doing, make sure- I want to make sure- they're covering the holes and everything.
So you, just, I think you just have to have patience and persistence with them and then you
know, every little success that they have is such a beautiful thing and you can just praise
that, give them a high five and just you know, just you know, really encourage that. I think so
much encouragement. We all need it, but especially our children here need so much
encouragement.
Yeah, thank you so much.
