"We have to start somewhere..." with Lorraine Davis
Watch this interview on YouTubeThere’s another piece to our organization and that is actually professional development and so we have a team of some professional developers and I’m just I’m just emerging so I’m really getting mentorship through those that are senior professional developers and so I just think that we need to grow our capacity in that area so I want to be a part of fostering that as well with the people that were working with is we want to promote them to you know becoming doctors in education so that we could continue teaching and getting it into the schools like we need to so but you know for right now I know that there’s conversations that are just starting and that’s coming from dapple about how do we really start getting this into the books and the school system you know so that the children all the children are reading the real story and so that’s a big undertaking and you know North Dakota is you know is a very conservative state and so you know but we’ve got to start somewhere so that’s where I see our role is coming into supporting those efforts
