You know the strategy that I that I truly believe in just by listening not my own personal belief but just by listening to all of those that I that I work with it’s that our cultural identity is vital to being successful in this and of course you know we know that our cultural identity or I need native identity it’s not just it’s not just traditions it’s not just the language it’s it’s having those environments that are you know what is familiar to us and so because social norms create a culture and so we are different in that way you know natives and non-natives it is different you know how we joke around or how we get the you know the little cues and like we talked about here at the training and so it’s those things and we can it’s a good start to start teaching teachers but it’s still never going to be exactly the same and so we need to have these environments to be able to work together to make it a better place for Native Americans just in general so you know then I then I believe then we can start building from there because then our self-esteem builds because I believe that’s you know when our spirits broken you know we lack that self-esteem it’s hard to feel like you can do anything successfully and so we’re just going back to the very basics of you know our identity you know helping Native Americans realize and have access to their own cultural identity so we’re really organizing other tribal members who have that knowledge that have that language that have those skills to be able to come together and so that we can create those programs to better serve all the tribes that were that are here in the Bismarck Mandan yeah
