Quick OSEU Overview Activity

This activity is for small groups of teachers (5 to 7) in circles. Each page of the handout addresses one of the seven Oceti Sakowin Essential Understandings by providing the text of the OSEU, a short link to a related Elder interview , and a set of Learn From questions. Have small groups read the text of the OSEU, view the interview and then journal, share and listen in small circles, ultimately making connections with the content they teach. In a large group, you can have each small circle share out with the whole group about the OSEU their circle focused on.
