Section 5 – Constructivist Approach View video: Questions for Reflection and Circle Discussion: What are my personal feelings about the Constructivist Approach in education? Do I see my students as possessing the building blocks needed for them to construct their own learning?  What “blocks” might be missing for some of my students to learn successfully? Do I have students in my care who are unable to engage fully with their learning/lessons being taught?  What might be the cause or barrier in their individual situation(s)?  Do I have any ability to impact positive change? Are there student experiences and home situations in my school that might be overlooked as potential learning opportunities?  How might I incorporate them? Go to Section 6: Deep Knowledge of Their Students
