I could see the way that a lot of the native people go they I don’t know I guess you know we were brought up in the Catholic religion you know but when I was went to California and of course my husband at that time he took a second job being I stayed home with the children until they were at Inga Lisa was seven or eight he took a second job and all of a sudden he saw this one speaker on the radio I think it was a radio and he said you know they’re talking about this different religion and he said and I think we should look into it so he looked into it and so we started going to the church I think it’s called Church of God at that time and so we were we started going to that church and of course they taught I think mostly from the Bible at that time and then all of a sudden I don’t know how many years down the road they received a new minister and my husband at that time he always observes everything going on he said just pastor don’t seem to be says friendly as the other one so I don’t know if the word how the word got back to him but he called up my husband when one evening and says he don’t want him coming to that church no more and he said but you can go I said well if you’re not going I’m not going either I told her so that was 10 years if we just never went to church and then of course when we moved back I’d never did never ly go back to any kind of a church I think in about 88 I have remarried in 88 then he believes in the Bible and stuff and he said you’d think we should start going to church I said well choose what church you want to go to all go and so at that time there was a pastor in Tokyo he was from originally from his native was Oklahoma and they taught the church there in Tokyo 400 for how many years so that’s where I went to church for years since 88 and then because of a flood and Tokyo they moved it up to Fort Totten now they got the Assembly of God Church at Fort Totten so that’s where I go now like of course I didn’t bring up the kids go on the church so none of them go to church I’m the only one going to church now of course I still pray that one day they’ll you know they’ll because I don’t know I believe the Bible ways I don’t know a lot of people don’t but they go like here on the rest lot and think the native way you know but I don’t you know I believe the Bible that it’s God’s word for each of us if we just take the term the time to accept them and of course I was taught to accept them as my Lord and Savior and so I don’t know I felt that’s the way to go you know and that’s the way God’s been leading me anyway and I’m still praying for the children to come around I tell my youngest son Paul he’s the CEO of the casino you know and he said oh yeah I know he says I speak to me today he says so he’s got his way you know and my daughter well she’s what almost fifteen hours she’s used to live in Grand Forks and she started going to church there and she went to I think it was to uh I don’t know what the name but it was they believe the Bible too and so she went and up accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior - but now years later she kind of fell away from it that I was hoping she’d get back to it but now she’s moved to her Bloomington Minnesota and that’s where she’s she comes maybe every like Thanksgiving she’ll come back home and I usually cooked the turkey and make the meal so all the kids come you know she’s got four brothers so messy to live here Paul lives in double slag and Mark lives right down the road for me in st.Michael’s and crooks the second youngest he lives in Lisbon North Dakota they work at that Bobcat Factory his wife and I think there’s son that graduated he works there too they have another son but he’s going to gone to college because he liked football so he’s I guess it’s kind of a paying part of his way to college I don’t know what he’s gonna be after but and I got my second oldest son Erik he lives in North Carolina he’s been there for I don’t know more than 10 years but now the jobs closing down it’s Victoria Secrets were they so like some drew with women’s bras anyway some line de-solder but eventually he’s gonna move in with his sister Lisa in Bloomington there’s a couple sewing factories up there drew he’s gonna look into and try to get a job there
