The rabbit, at one time, had short ears and a long tail, and the badger was a fearless warrior. Lived in a tough environment, and that rabbit wanted to be a warrior, just like the badger. The badger had battle marks on his face. You look at a badger, you say, well, you have to live with him. You have to be impervious to pain. You can't let that bother you. You have to be able to withstand pain. So he decided, well, I'll be a badger warrior. First thing he got into, his tail got caught. He pulled, but pop! So his tail got short. And then he got in, and his ears got caught. And he started pulling them. Gah! His ears pulled on, and he's got a short tail. Ah, they can be their own. I don't want to be a warrior. So they sing this song. Mosh-dee-chah-lah-nah-wee-zee-nah Zee-tay-oh-nah-gee-sloh-sloh-kah Mosh-dee-chah-lah-nah-wee-zee-nah Zee-tay-oh-nah-gee-sloh-sloh-kah The rabbit got jealous and lost his tail Hi-ho, hi-ho, hi-ho, hi-ho The rabbit got jealous and lost his tail
