Oh yeah the storytelling my dad was one of them he used to tell stories but they were more like for humor but in the back and embrace when they told stories they would tell of their upbringing you know to what how they live what they were coming up and what all they saw when all they’d done they would be telling and it’s mostly like when they have an evening like when my grandfather used to tell us dignity no we used to sit outside there and he would make a fire outside nasty if we cooking dinner for after evening you know we’ll be sitting around he’ll be telling us stories you know different and back then you know some of the stories that they used to tell like that justice leak for one for one is when he used to always tell those guys when I was growing up there’s Lake here it was no Lake here there was this one by Fatah tan dirt road but it was kind of further out this was all trees from here all the way to Fort Totten there was no water my grandfather used to always tell us case you know back when he was going up he’s seen a lot of things you know he’s seen the mail boat that was from the mini eight school in Devil’s Lake there’s a rock outside of the mini eight school that mini H mail boat used to dr.And then that mail boat used to come around and deliver mail to the Calvary square out here and he said these two always tell us that he said I might not see it in my lifetime but in your lifetime he said this water will come back to the way it used to be and you know we I used to just sit there and think you know how does he know those things you know yeah but you know and then after his passing 1974 he passed away and in early eighties the wet season came in this water started coming up and you know and as it started rising you know and it started overtaking land and stuff like that there that popped into my head you know my grandfather was telling me about that and I don’t know I wonder how he knew that you know because you know then now you look at it now it’s just one massive leak and I always remember that he used to always tell us cases then you know not in my lifetime but near lifetime when so I did see it what he told me
