Watch this interview on YouTubeHe’s been all over the world and I’ve been and I got some good places under my belt at least two you know Chicago New York and this all started when I was not even a high schooler just middle schooler what is your favorite thing about dancing um the favorite thing about dancing you know um man there’s the honestly that there’s not one specific thing that I cannot pick out you know there’s multiple things one of the good things is meeting different people meeting different competitors from around the world you know sometimes when you compete against people there’s that you know that spy or you know you may become like anyone like enemies or stuff like that but in my eyes is like picking up a new friend you know I got friends from Arizona Washington California Michigan Wisconsin South Dakota and Nebraska I mean all over you know this it opens new doors everybody does and another thing is you know it keeps me excited for summer you know usually you know keep people my age you know they’re just like they don’t really know what to do but every year I mean summer ends I can’t wait for the next summer to start I can’t wait for the next trail to start you know or when this powell is over you know I’m already talking about next year 365 days in the future I’m already ready for it so what does a summer look like for you as far as dancing goes um the summer goes for me is um on the off days that try to at least like you know if there’s a parking to go to it’s looking it up and looking at the other people that I didn’t get to see or didn’t get to uh ran into and see how that goes or my other summers are just my spending summers it’s just friends you know fan family you know honest I believe family is a big thing in my life you know and again it’s just trying to stay in shape for them for the next weekend or thinking ahead or maybe trying to switch things up and go somewhere else if there was somebody that was watching this I was thinking about I might like to try that you know get into dancing what would you tell them how would you advise them to get started go for it just go out there and go for it you know there’s you know I can say practice you know practice before you go out there but honestly the best thing out there is just go out there and you know you’re there you’re out there to have fun you know if you think you’re gonna enjoy it and most likely it’s gonna make you happy you know you don’t need to be the best you don’t need to be a star you know there’s to me right here this stuff makes me happy every weekend there’s just something you know when I was a kid I remember you see I used to be sitting like I might be kind of like upset if I would get sick before the weekend and my parents would always tell me how you go out there dance and you feel better and sure enough you know go out there Jael and I don’t know if I either sweat it out or the endorphins but the next day you know I would feel better you know be all happy and you know that’s unknown the same thing goes for my dad too is you know after a good power if there’s a good song you know he’s a good mood you know and same goes for me you know if I get a good song and I feel like I did pretty good you know I’ll be pretty happy for the next few days and I can’t want to be able to stop talking about it when you’re dancing what are you thinking about you know when you’re when you have your regalia on and you’re listening to the music what kinds of things go through your mind the first thing would go through my mind was you know as he said sometimes you know there’s grandpa’s there’s uncle ‘he’s that want to watch dance but to me I remember growing up I was just you know being a little boy you know not even a teen and even maybe barely getting to juniors and watching the men dance and picking up that style picking up different styles and printing to yourself you know I feel and honestly that’s what I always kind of look to you know to see if there’s any little boys watching any little grass dancers watching because you know soon they’re gonna pick up you know you never know that’s the stage where they’re gonna pick up a style and that’s gonna be their base their ground base of how they start so you know it you know I mean were growing up and you know don’t talk tell people that I danced against you know I’m like him to like you know hey you know I took this move and I you know put it like this where I used to watch him when I was a kid and it never really hit me till you know to me like again full circle you know Here I am you know being a kid you know teen watching people and being an adult and then Here I am in this part now where there’s kids coming up to me and telling me you know hey I really like your dancing stuff you mind if I get a picture with you never in my never would I have thought that you know kids would tell me that I like your style can I use your move can I use this you I hope you don’t mind or there’s kids out there that you know you tell that you know they just you know they would basically see yourself out there and it’s it’s one good feeling you know and it’s a feeling that I really can’t describe in words just it just gives you more confidence to keep doing what you’re doing and again and how you carry yourself out there if there’s kids watching out there and watching you out there dance of course they’re gonna be why Janina how you carry yourself out there when you have everything off so you know you its Austin B or both a woman a role model and both worlds in and out
